Obituary
Mrs. Emma Mary Schmitt Blank, 1328 north Sixth Street, died Aug. 8 in Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Blank had suffered a broken hip last July 19.
A life resident of Burlington, she was born March 23, 1868, and was married to George Blank, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, John Schmitt, Burlington; a nephew, Harold Smith, Princeton, N.J., and a niece, Mrs. Jack Ginette, of Austin, Texas.
Mrs. Blank was a member of the Lutheran church.
Last rites will be held at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 pm Friday. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
