Peter J. Blanck, 60, of 1806 Delmar, died Saturday at5:14 pm after an extended illness.
He was born in Burlington, May 11, 1887, and was a life resident of Burlington, March 28, 1909, he married Lillian Frick in West Burlington. He had been the custodian of the Medical Arts building until about a year ago when poor health forced his retirement. He was a member of the Church of the Open Bible.
Surviving are the widow; 2 daughters, Mrs. Rober Welsh, Burlington, and Mrs. AW Hendrickson, Rock Island; 4 grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Mary Blankck, of Burlington; 3 brothers, Henry, Arlington, Ky., Clarence, Burlington, and Vernon, Phoenix, Ariz.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Lucille Dent and Marie Blanck of Burlington, and Mrs. John Murphy, Chicago.
Services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 pm in the Church of the Open Bible preceded by brief rites at the Blanck home. The body will be taken to the home from Burnett-Wallen funeral home Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
