Mrs. Lillie G. Blanck, 83, of 906 S. Ninth, died at 9:45 pm Wednesday, April 17, in Memorial Hospital. She was born Apri. 29, 1890, in Des Moines County, the daughter of Charles and Caroline Kiel Frick.
She married Peter J. Blanck on March 28, 1909, in West Burlington. He died in 1948. She belonged to the Open Bible Church.
Surviving: two daughters, Mrs. Helen Welsh, Burlington, and Mrs. Deloris Hendrickson, Denver; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 3:30 pm Saturday, Open Bible Church, Rev. Edward Anderson; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Lunning chapel Friday from 7:30 until 9 pm. The body will be taken to the church at noon on Saturday.
