Obituary
Following an illness of but a few days as a result of which she was brought to the Mercy hospital in a serious condition, Arlene Lillian Blank, 5-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. PF Blank of 118 Leffler Street, West Burlington, died at the Mercy hospital at 4:15 this morning from a complication of diseases.
She was born on July 8, 1918, in West Burlington and was a member of the Sunday school of the Methodist church of West Burlington. She was also a pupil in the public schools of West Burlington.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30. It has not been decided whether they will be held from the home or from the Methodist church of West Burlington, Burial will be made in the Aspen Grove Cemetery.
