Obituary
Mrs. Louise E. Blair, 76, of 909 N. Seventh, died Sunday at 5:45 am in her home, following an extended illness.
She was born June 26, 1878, in Bremer county, the daughter of William and Paulina Krueger Frank, and lived in Burlington for the past 45 years. She was a practical nurse.
In 1898, she was married to Clarence Milton at Keokuk. He died in 1926. She married John Blair in 1932 at Burlington, and he preceded her in death in 1937.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church and was a member of the Women’s Guild of the church.
The survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Philip Fritz of Burlington with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Rodolph Boehm, Chicago; two sons, Lawrence H. Milton, Glendale, Calif., and Lewis F. Milton, Tuscon, Ariz. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive, as do two brothers, Edwin Franke, Des Moines, and one sister, Mrs. Etta Nicholson, Des Moines, and number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in Prugh’s chapel. The Rev., John Schultz will officiate, and burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
