Lloyd H. Washburne, 2020 Dill street, died in the Burlington hospital late Wednesday morning, Jan. 29. He had been in failing health for several years. Washburne was born at Prophetstown, Ill., July 13, 1891, the son of William and Nettie Field Washburne. He was married to Florence Irwin of Burlington, Dec. 13, 1926. He had lived in Burlington for the past year, coming here from Kingston, where he had been in business for 12 years. He was affiliated with the Masonic lodge of Yarmouth, and was a member of the Kingston Methodist church. Surviving are the widow, 2 children, Patricia Washburne and William Washburne, both at home; a sister, Maude Washburne of Prophetstown; 2 brothers, Vern Washburne, of Rock Falls, Ill., and Harry Washburne, of Burlington, and a niece. The body is at Prugh's chapel.
