Clyde Curtis Murray, 57, 603 Summer died at Burlington hospital at 11:37 p.m. Monday after an extended illness. Born in Media, Ill Oct. 19, 1896 he was the son of Henry and Lilliam Suydam Murray, and wa married to Mary Hill at Monmouth, Ill Jan. 20,1920.He worked for many years as a traveling salesman and was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Methodist church, the Masonic order, the United Commercial travelers and was a past officer of the Local Elks lodge. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Butler, Burlington, three grandchildren; two brothers, F.F. Murray, Keokuk, and P.M. Murray Carroll; a sister, Mrs. Ralph, Stephenson, Marion; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with Dr. Deane Chapman in charge. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
