Date for the funeral of Walter Meyer, Burlington boy who was killed in France, has not yet been fixed, it was announced yesterday, altho services are planned to be held here some time this week following the arrival of the body from New York. Young Meyer was a member of Company I, 168th infantry. Firing squad and military escort will be provided by the local cavalry troups, according to present plans, while every member of the local American Legion post has been urged to attend. Four of young Meyer's former comrades who were with him when he fell, will serve as pall bearers.
