Obituary
Richard A. Bischoff, 74, of 1312 N. Sixth St., died at 1:55 pm Friday at the Burlington Medical Center Klein Unit.
Mr. Bischoff was born May 19, 1912, in Burlington to Albert and Augusta School Bischoff. He was an engineering assistant for the International Register Company for 20 years.
He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, the Iowa- Illinois Amateur Radio Club, and the Des Moines County Chapter of Crippled Children and Adults.
Surviving is a brother, Paul Bischoff, Burlington.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Prugh’s Chapel, the Rev. Dale Hempen officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Monday from 7-8:30 pm. A memorial has been established for the church.
