News of the death of Miss Rachel Belle Bischoff of 606 South Garfield Ave., reached the city today, from Richmond, Va., where she was engaged as a private tutor. Miss Bischoff was born in Atchison, Kansas, September 20, 1891, and had been in Richmond about two years. Her father passed away 18 years ago and her mother has made this city her home. Besides the mother, a sister, Miss Ruth Marie, who is a teacher in Philadelphia, was called to her bedside and is bringing the body home. Besides the mother there and sister a grandmother, Mrs. Barnet Armstron, and a host of friends mourn her untimely death.
The body will be brought here Sunday afternoon and the funeral will be held from Prugh’s chapel at two o’clock Sunday afternoon. The deceased was a young woman of strong personality and was beloved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held from Prugh’s chapel Sunday afternoon, Dec. 22, at 2 o’clock.
