Obituary
Funeral services for Clarence Bischoff, Jr., six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Bischoff, who died at his parent’s home on Mason road yesterday morning, will be held at St. Luke’s Evangelical church at 2 o’clock this afternoon, preceded by brief services at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 1:30. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
The child appeared to be in good health when he retired Thursday night but awoke at 4:30 Friday morning with symptoms of an internal disorder. He grew steadily worse until he died at 1:30 yesterday morning. Death was attributed to meningitis following an acute internal ailment.
Clarence Jr. was born August 24, 1926. He attended the St. Luke Evangelical Sunday School.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, James; six sisters, Margaret, Marcelline, Fern, Neoma, Virginia, and Jean, and two grandparents, Theodore Bischoff of Burlington and Mrs. Richie Gerdner of Des Moines.
