Chester K. Nygren, 59, died Wednesday night at the home of his mother at 110 S. Leebrick after a long illness. Nygren was born Sept. 26, 1895, in Burlington. He served in World war one in France.He worked for the Northwestern Cabinet Co. for 37 years before he was forced to leave in July 1950 because of ill health. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church, Moose, eagles, and Modern Woodmen of America. Nygren is survived by his mother, Maria F. Nygren and a brother Arthur G., both of Burlington; and one niece, Jeanne Johnson, Indianapolis, Ind. His father, j.G. Nygren, died in 1947. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3;15 p.m. at Wallen's Chapel. The Rev. Russell Johnson will be in charge and burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
