Obituary
Paul Birzele, an old and well-liked citizen of Burlington, passed away at Burlington hospital at an early hour Wednesday morning. He was sixty-eight years of age, a native of the Fatherland, but an old resident of Burlington, a carpenter by trade. He lived at No. 602 Denmark street and is survived by the following children; Mrs. Laura Binder, Burlington; Adolph Birzele, Omaha; Eugene Birzele, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Marie Wiemer, Burlington; August Birzele, Burlington. Deceased was a member of St. Lucas church and of the Bismarck lodge of the Ancient Order of United Workmen, a man of many excellent qualities, who will be held in kindly remembrance by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
The funeral will take place at 2:00 Saturday afternoon from the family residence, with interment in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
