Obituary
Mrs. Amelia Kaufer Birzele, 75, a native of Burlington, died Thursday at Omaha, Nebr., after a short illness.
She was born July 16, 1880, in Burlington, the daughter of John and Caroline Kaufer, and was married in 1913 to Adolph Birzele in the city.
The survivors include three daughters, Eleanor Birzele, Chicago, Mrs. Marvin Ginn, Wheaton, Ill., and Mrs. Walter Reed, Chicago; two grandchildren; two nephews, and three nieces.
Her parents and two brothers are dead.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm in Prugh’s chapel. Dr. M. E. Lehmann will officiate and burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
The body will arrive in Burlington Saturday afternoon.
