James Frederick Cave, 88, West Dundee, Ill., died Saturday, Dec. 6, in Resthaven hospital, Elgin, Ill. A former Burlington resident, he was born Aug. 31, 1881, in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, son of William F. and Emma l. Herrington Cave. He married Pearl Andre in Burlington Oct. 10, 1906. Mr. Cave was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Baptist faith and belonged to the Masonic Des Moines Lodge No. 1, in Burlington. Surviving: Two sons, James A., La Grange, Ill., and Robert H., Dundee; brother, Ernest, Watertown, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. John W. Park, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. A.D. Davis, Ozark, Ala. Services: Tuesday, 11 a.m., Prugh's chapel, Rev. Mr. George Thompson; Aspen Grove cemetery.
