Mr. Arthur W. Bloom, 68, of 103 PiersonCourt, died Tuesday at 2:50 pm at St. Francis hospital where he had been hospitalized since Jan. 31.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bloom, born in Burlington on Jan. 11, 1895. He had never married. He was a retired employee of Dahlin and Davis. He was a WWI veteran with overseas duty.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Bloom, 1308 S. 10th; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Schultz of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Miss Frances Bloom of 103 Pierson Court.
Committal services will be Friday at 3:30 at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. GA Saathoff officiating. The body is at Elliott-Lunning Chapel.
