Obituary
Adolph Birzele, about 77, of Omaha, Neb., died there suddenly Tuesday, according to word received here.
He was the son of Paul and Eleanor Sauer Birzele and was a native of Germany. A former Burlington resident, he had lived in Omaha for 38 years. In June of 1913, he married the former Amelia Kaufer in Burlington. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Eleanor of Chicago, Mrs. Laura Ginn of Wheaton, Ill., and Margaret, at home; two nieces and two nephews. His parents, two sisters, and four brothers are dead.
Services will be Saturday in Prugh’s Chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will arrive in Burlington Friday afternoon.
