William Fredrick Binder passed away at the family home, No. 602 Denmark street, at 8 a.m. Monday. The cause of death was pneumonia. He was born in Germany, October 23, 1876, and came to Burlington with his parents in 1881. During a number of years, he had been employed as a core maker at the Murray Ironworks plant at West Burlington. He was married to Miss Louisa Birzele, at Monmouth, Ill., June 18, 1910, and is survived by the widow and the following brothers and sisters; George J. Binder, Monmouth; Gottlieb Binder, Rockford, Ill.; Daniel, Edward, and Albert Binder, here; Mrs. Johanna B. Koch, Miss Mary Agnes Binder, and Miss Clara Binder, all of Burlington. He was a member of the Molder’s union and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. A man appeared in the best of health and of powerful physique, he seemed destined to a ripe age and his early passing will be regretted by all who knew him.
The funeral of William Binder will be held from the family, at 2 o'clock the (Wednesday) afternoon, with interment in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
