Obituary
Julius A. Binder, 37-year-old World War Veteran and lifelong resident of this county, died last night at 10:40 at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Binder, rural route 4. He had been ill for the last five months.
Mr. Binder was born in the house in which he died, March 25, 1891. Following his discharge from the Army at the close of the war he was employed as a butcher here, but ill health forced him to retire some time ago. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic church.
He is survived by his parents; two daughters, Nona and Betty Binder, and three sisters, Miss Hattie Binder, Miss Amanda Binder and Mrs. Walther C. Stubbs, all of Burlington.
The remains were taken to Unterkircher funeral home pending arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic church at 9 a.m. on Monday.
