Obituary
George J. Binder, 84, of 1707 Orchard, died Saturday at 6:30 am.
He was born in Burlington on Feb. 1, 1878. On June 30, 1904, he married Hattie K. Zaiser. She died in 1942. He was a long-time employee of Bock’s Flower shop and more recently had done picture framing and artwork at his home. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Odd Fellows, Hawkeye Natives, and Hobby club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Fritz, of Chicago, and two grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 2 pm at Wallen-Nelson chapel. Dr. G. Dempster Yinger will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
