Mrs. Augusta Rose Binder died yesterday afternoon at 5:15. She was the widow of Joseph Binder, who passed away July 2, 1907. She was born in Schelessien, Kreschau Kreis, Germany, on September 24, 1844, and came to America with her parents in 1858. She was married on November 19, 1861, to Mr. Binder. To this union, nine children were born, two of whom died in infancy. Surviving are Charles J., Edward J., Joseph G., Theodore, Herman and August Binder, and Mrs. William H. Warth. There are also twenty-two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Herman and Edward Rose, of Nauvoo, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Amelia Brache, of Berlin, Germany. In 1909 she visited the Fatherland for three months. Since the death of Mr. Binder, she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Warth, on Summer Street.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Warth residence and 2:30 at Zion church. Friends are invited and will please omit flowers.
