Clara R. Biklen, 86, 420 Iowa, died at her home at 10:45 am today after a long illness. She was born in Burlington on August 22, 1869, the daughter of Gottlieb H. and Christina Biklen. She never married. She was a member of the Zion E & R church, active in the Shakesperean club, a charter member of the Burlington Hospital Aid Society and a member of the PEO Sisterhood.
Surviving are; two sisters, Marth D. Biklen, Burlington and Mrs. William Pendleton, Lawrence, Kansas; one brother, Oscar P. Biklen, Burlington; several nieces and nephews. One brother and one sister are dead.
Funeral services for Miss Clara R. Biklen, 424 Iowa St., who passed away June 4, 1957, will be held at Wallen’s Chapel, Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. The Rev. Mr. John Schults will officiate. Interment in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
