Obituary
Anna, the fifteen-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. GH Biklen, died at the residence on Prospect Hill at nine o’clock last evening, of erysipelas, with which she was attacked about ten days ago. The best of medical skills and the most loving care were unable to combat the terrible malady, and death was a great relief from her intense sufferings. The sympathies of many friends go out to the bereaved family. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.
The funeral of Miss Anna Biklen was held in the afternoon from the home of her parents on Polk Street and was largely attended, the High school class to which she belonged being present in a body. Numerous fine floral offerings testified the affection of her friends and the services, conducted by Rev. Zimmerman, were impressive and pathetic. The following young gentlemen acted as pallbearers; Carl Schlapp, Homer Millard, Harry Schwartz, William Kitzele, Albert Klein and George Heaton.
