Obituary
A telegram was received last night by Undertaker Prugh announcing the death of Frank Bierwirth, a former Burlington boy, in Chicago. The deceased had long been a sufferer from heart disease, and to this cause, his death is attributed. Several weeks ago relatives and friends were called to his bedside under the apprehension that the end was near, but he rallied again and hopes were entertained that he might recover. He soon began to grow worse again, however, and finally sank into wakeless sleep last night. His body will arrive tonight from Chicago and be buried, probably on Wednesday.
Funeral will take place from the Congregational church, Oct. 22, 1890, at 11:00. Friends are invited.
