Henry Federick Bierstedt, 87, of 1612 West Ave., died at his home Wednesday at 2:15 am.
He was born Feb. 11, 1879, in Burlington, the son of Fred and Sophia Setge Bierstedt. May 14, 1908, he married Bertha Judith Strauss in Burlington, He was a retired shipping clerk of the Acres Blackmar company. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, the Masonic lodge, and UCT.
Surviving; The wife; a daughter, Mrs. Russell Hartman, Burlington; a son, Robert, of London, England; five grandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Prugh’s chapel.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry F. Bierstedt, who passed away December 7, 1966, will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Friday afternoon at 2: 00 o’clock. Rev. Mr. Earl Meissner will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:00.
