Obituary

Sena Bierman, 1016 S 7th Street, died in Burlington hospital at 1:15 am Thursday after an extended illness. She was born in Hanover, Germany, Sept. 20, 1859, the daughter of Oltman and Telka Johnson, and had resided in Burlington for 75 years. She married Fred Bierman, now dead, April 9, 1884, in Danville. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints church.
Surviving are 2 sons and one daughter, Fred G and Elmer O Bierman, and Mrs. GE Schweers, all of Burlington. 3 sisters, and one brother, Mrs. Katherine Wilke, Burlington, Mrs. Emma GreenSt. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Anna Dyer, Stewartsville, Mo., and Henry H. Johnson, Camera, mo.; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Prugh’s chapel to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Schweers, 1016 S.t 7th Street, Friday, and the funeral services will be held in the Latter Day Saints church, 12th and Locust Streets, Sunday at 2 pm. The cortege will leave the residence at 2:45 pm. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
