Miss Ida Bethke, former well-known resident of Burlington, died yesterday afternoon at 1 o’clock at her home in Marshalltown, Ia. according to word received here. Miss Bethke was born in Germany and came here many years ago. About 20 years ago she moved to Marshalltown. She was an aunt of Henry Oetken of Burlington.
Her body will be brought to Burlington for burial and funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Unterkircher funeral home. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
