Obituary
Sadie E. Bershee, who taught for more than 50 years in Burlington grade schools, died at Marion at 11:30 pm Wednesday.
Retiring in 1939, she made her home at Marion with a nephew, Charles R. Bershee, for the last 17 months.
Born in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles and Emuline Kissam Bershee. She was a member of First Congregational church, Burlington.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Prugh’s chapel Monday at 2 pm. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will be brought to Burlington Friday afternoon.
