Obituary
Mrs. Muriel P. Bentzinger, 78, of 2201 Cliff Road, died at 8 pm Monday, June 13, in Lein hospital. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born Dec. 10, 1898, in Decorah, the daughter of Alonzo and Hester Parker. She married Henry Alexander Bentzinger on Sept. 23, 1927, in Burlington; he died on Aug. 13, 1963. She was a member of First Congregational Church, its Alliance Circle, and the Service Guild of King’s Daughters.
Surviving; Son, Dean, Bloomingdale, NJ; daughter, Mrs. Gerald Thye, Burlington, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service; 3 pm Wednesday, Aspen Grove Cemetery, Rev. Arthur Krebs. A memorial has been established for First Congregational Church. The body is at Prugh’s Chapel.
