Mable E. Benson, 91, of 1002 S. Plane, died Wednesday, June 2, in the Danville Community Home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1885, in Burlington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Benson. She was employed by the Burlington Northern railroad in Burlington and Chicago, returning to Burlington 20 years ago. She was a member of the Railroad Veterans; Messiah Lutheran Church, and its Ladies Aid society.
Surviving: One sister, Esther, Burlington; and two nephews.
Funeral; 2 pm Friday, Messiah Lutheran Church, Rev. Larry Fruehling; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the church.
