Esther Benson, 82, of 1002 S. Plane, died Wednesday, June 22, in Burlington Medical Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1894, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Benson. She was retired from the Agriculture Dept. in Chicago and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, National Teacher’s Assn. and assn. of Civil Employees.
Surviving; Two nephews, Robert Benson and Paul Benson, both of Burlington; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Signa McLinn, Burlington.
Funeral: 2 pm Friday, Messiah Lutheran Church, Rev. GA Saathoff; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the church.
