Mrs. Julia Benner, 97, died Monday at 5:15 am at Klein Memorial hospital after an extended illness.
She was born July 13, 1870. She was married to Arthur J. Benner who died in Sept. 1937. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Mrs. Benner's husband was the founder of the Benner Tea Co.
Surviving: two step-daughters, Florence and Gertrude; a step-son, Loren F. Benner of Largo, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Prugh’s chapel.
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Benner, who passed away January 15, 1968, will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 Rev. Mr. Roscoe Wolvington will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
