Obituary
Helen A. Benne, 79, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, July 29, 1991, at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge.
Born Dec. 15, 1911, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of Henry F. and Clara C. Schuff Benne.
She had moved to Fort Dodge in 1948 and was a member of the First Baptist Church Kodiak Circle of the church, and the American Baptist Women, and was a 25-year choir member of the church. She was also a Sunday School teacher and church secretary. She had been employed by the Webster County Board of Health.
Surviving is two nephews, Richard Benne, Burlington, and Maul Mundinger, Sacramento, Calif.; and one niece, Marilyn Barclay, Portage, Ind.
The service for Miss Benne will be at 10 am Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in ort Dodge. The graveside committal will be at 10:30 am Thursday at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
Memorials have been established for St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in West Burlington and the American Heart and Cancer Societies.
