Mrs. Anna Frederica Gerdner Beneke, 65, died in Burlington hospital early this morning.
She was a patient in the hospital for the past 11 days and had been in poor health for several years. Her husband preceded her in death on April 1, 1940.
Surviving are one son, Harry Beneke of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. William Riepe of Burlington and Mrs. Lizzie Cayton of San Jose, Cal.; a brother, William Gerdner, Burlington; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Beneke was born in Burlington on July 5, 1874, the daughter of Henry and Caroline Nattelman Gerdner.
The remains are at Prugh’s chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
