Little James Ripley Bell, the two-year-old son of Mayor and Mrs. James M. Bell, died at the family home at 12:30 this morning; the little one’s untimely death being the result of spasms suffered during the night. His sudden end was a great shock to the parents, as he had been in fairly good health until yesterday evening.
The many friends of the heartbroken parents will be sincerely grieved to learn of the little boy’s death. He was a bright and promising little one, a favorite with all the neighbors and a bright ray of sunshine in the home, and he will be sorely missed by the parents whose many friends extend their heartfelt sympathy. The child was born here on November 4, 1915, and was the only child.
The funeral of James Ripley Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Bell, will be held from the family home No. 512 S. 10th Street, at 2:00 Friday afternoon. Friends are invited to these services. The interment in Aspen Grove will be private.
