Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, 78, of 723 N. Garfield Ave., died at 8:45 pm Friday after an extended illness.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, the Ladies' aid of the church, the Eastern Star at Davenport, and the Degree of Honor in Nebraska.
Born Dec. 27, 1872, in Sheffield, England, the daughter of Jacob and Susan Fulp Rynott, she had lived in Burlington the last 20 years. Her marriage to the late Charles Bell took place Sept. 22, 1892.
Surviving are a daughter and 3 sons, Mrs. Ed Hartman and Raymond J. Bell, Burlington, Charles E. Bell, Davenport, and William H. Bell, San Diego, Calif.; a brother Harry Rynott, Burlington; 4 sisters, Mrs. Frank Dorner and Mrs. Walter Enger, Burlington; Mrs. Margaret Spangler, Calif. and Mrs. Rose Bowen, Iowa City; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services wil be at 2 pm Monday in Prugh’s chapel with Dr. ME Lehmann officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
