Obituary
Roland Walter Behne, 9, of 1924 Vogt Street, died at home Saturday night after an illness of several weeks.
Roland, a fourth-grade pupil at Sunnyside school, had undergone three operations and been in the hospital twice since the first of the year.
He was born Dec. 24, 1925, and was a life resident of the city. He was a member of the First Evangelical church and Sunday School.
Surviving is his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter W Behne; a sister, Marian, 6; three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Behne, Burlington and J Schoelkopf, West Burlington, and several aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at First Evangelical church at 2:30 Tuesday preceded by a short service at the residence. The body was removed to the residence from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home Sunday.
