Mrs. Anna Behne, 75, of 1701 South Fifteenth St., a life resident of Des Moines County, died at Mercy hospital Sunday after an illness of 6 months.
She was born on a farm south of Burlington Feb. 11, 1861. She was the widow of August Behne who died six years ago.
Mrs. Behne was a member of the Hawkeye Natives society.
Surviving are two children; a daughter, Mrs. Tillie Muenzenmeyer, and one son, Otto E. Behne, both of Burlington; one brother, Charles Otto, Burlington, and two grandchildren, George Muensenmeer, and Doris Ann Behne, Burlington.
Funeral services will be held from the Unterkircher funeral home at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. RR Belter, pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church, will conduct the service. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
