Obituary
Mrs. Martha Beebe, 405 Barrett Street, resident of Burlington 44 years and widely known in lodge circles here, died at home this afternoon after an illness of five weeks.
Mrs. Beebe had been in failing health a year before becoming ill. She was born in Omorsa, Ia., on Feb. 13, 1866, and was married to Oliver Beebe at Wichita, Kan.
She was a member of Charity Lodge No. 1, Degree of Honor, Paul Caster Rebekah lodge, and IOOF.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Kisler, with whom she made her home here; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Willis of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Clara Stigewalt, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Charles Parsons, Stockton, Cal., and two grandchildren. Her husband and a daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Beebe, who passed away on Jan. 4, 1936, at 12:30 pm, will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Friends invited. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
