David Lee Beckman, 70, of 1622 Dodge, died Sunday at his home.
He was born May 12, 1895, at Prairie Grove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beckman. Mar. 26, 1918, he married Eunice Walker in Burlington. Mr. Beckman was a retired railway mail clerk, a member of Grace Methodist church and the American Legion.
Surviving: The wife; three grandchildren, one great grand-daughter; two brothers, Verdon of Mediapolis and Henry of LaPlata, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Maybe Miller, Mediapolis, Mrs. Effie Piper, New London, and Mrs. Claire Renner, Danville.
Services: Wednesday 2 pm, Seagren funeral home; the Rev. Frank O. Johnson; Aspen Grove cemetery. There will be military graveside rites
