Obituary

Mrs. Etta L. Becker, wife of Harry H. Becker, a fireman on the Burlington Railroad, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred Galbraith, 1315 Agency Street, at 6:45 pm last night. Her death followed a lingering illness. She was in St. Francis Hospital for some time and before her illness, she and her husband lived on South Eighth Street.
Mrs. Becker was born in Henderson County, Illinois, on August 23, 1891. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Gladstone and the Mystic Workers and the Ladies’ Auxilliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, Frank M. Cooper, of Galesburg, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Fred Galbraith of Burlington.
The body was taken to Prugh’s undertaking establishment. Funeral arrangements have not been made but burial will be at Oquawka, Ill.
Funeral will be at the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred Galbraith, 1815 Agency St., Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Friends invited. Burial at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
