Rosie L. Beck, 77, resident of Burlington for 29 years, died Monday at 11:45 pm in the residence of her niece, Mrs. Birdie Beck, 169 S. Seventh Street, with whom she made her home. She had been in failing health for many years.
Born in Grosselfingen, Germany, July 25, 1865, the daughter of Sebastian and Mary Beck, she came to this country 55 years ago.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the residence Thursday at 2 pm, Rev. AF Koelling to officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will be removed to the residence from Prugh’s chapel Wednesday morning.
