Obituary
Julius Edward Beck, a former Burlington resident, died at his home in Milwaukee, Wis., Friday.
He was born in Burlington Nov. 4, 1877, the son of Eustacius and Emma Melcher Beck. He had never married.
He had been retired for a number of years. At one time he worked for the CB&Q railroad and later as a building superintendent in Milwaukee.
He is survived by his two sisters Miss Birdie Beck of Burlington and Miss Edith Beck of Los Angeles, Calif., and one niece, Mrs. WW Kane of Austin, Minn.
Services will be in Prugh’s chapel at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
