Funeral services for Mrs. Grace M. Beck, 84, long-time Burlington resident who died July 3 in Weslaco, Tex., will be at 11 am on Monday. Lunning chapel; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
She was born March 3, 1890, in West Burlington, the daughter of Victor and Annie Hewitt Johnson. She married Herman W. Beck Jan. 29, 1913, in Burlington; he died May 25, 1973.
Surviving; One brother, Chester Johnson, Walla Walla, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Streight, Oelwein, and Mrs. Eva Behne, Burlington.
Rev. Roscoe Wolvington will officiate. Eastern Star services will be held in the Lunning Chapel Sunday, 7:30 pm. The family will receive friends in the chapel Sunday from 7:30 until 9 pm. Friends who wish may contribute to a memorial for the First Presbyterian church. The body will arrive in Burlington lat Sat. evening.
