Frank HM Beck, 76, of 724 Louisa Street, died at St. Francis hospital Friday at 6:30 pm, following an extended illness.
He was born in Burlington on April 9, 1886, the son of Gebhardt and Sophia Gabriel Beck, and was a retired CB&Q roundhouse employee.
He was a member of the Eagles and the Cascade Boat Club.
Surviving are two brothers, Arthur H. Beck of Burlington; Robert C. Beck, Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Pearl J. Rowe of Des Moines; and also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His parent and one brother are dead. Service will be held in Prugh’s Chapel, Monday at 3:30 pm. Rev. Earl Meissner will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with graveside memorial services by the Eagles Lodge.
