Carl Sterzing, 90, of 913 Curran, died at 6:22 p.m. Monday, June 11, in St. Francis Continuation Care Center. He was born Dec. 10, 1888, in Crete, Neb. He married Mamie Stoll June 15, 1911; she died nov. 2, 1957. He married Bertha Kratzer Sept. 26, 1959; she died July 12, 1976.He was retired owner of Sterzing Potato Chip Co. and member of Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving: A son, Bernard, West Burlington; and nephews and nieces. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Prugh's Chapel, Dr. Robert Buhr; Aspen Grove cemetery.
