Mrs. Clara Hannah Sourwine, 73, Summer street road, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at her home after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 22, 1878, in Des Moines county, the daughter of the late Adolph and Caroline Schrie, and was married in March of 1897 in this county to the late Ollie Sourwine. She was a member of Spring Grove Methodist church. Surviving are 2 sons, David E., at home, and Adolph of Burlington; 4 daughters, Mrs. Douglas Shaw, Mrs. Whitford NIehaus and Mrs. Leslie Wagner, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Roland Pierson, Cedar Rapids; 2 brothers, Harry Schrei, Cedar Rapids, and Jesse Schrei, Belleville, Ill.; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. One son is dead. The body is at Prugh's chapel. Arrangements will be announced later.
