Charles Wallace Beardsley, 71, of 319 Shields Street died Wednesday at 6 pm in Burlington hospital after an illness of 7 days.
He was born Jan. 30, 1876, at Minonk, Ill., and had lived in Burlington for 24 years. On March 21, 1907, he married Maude I Noble in Chicago. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are the widow; 2 sons, Lynn and Royal, of Burlington; a brother, Melton, Stronghurst, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Ella Andre and Mrs. George Hencilman of Burlington.
Services will be held Friday at 2 pm in Giles's funeral home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
