Mary Thiel, widow of Charles Theil, passed away at her home, No. 322 South Leebrick Street, at 8:30 last evening. She was born in Muhlhausen, Germany, March 19, 1837, and came to this country when a young girl. During more than forty years she had made her home in Burlington, winning many friends, who will honor her memory. She was an old and faithful member of the First German Evangelical church. Mrs. Theil is survived by a son, George Thiel, of this city, and a daughter Mrs. Emma Braham, of Springfield, Mass.
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Thiel was held from the family home at 323 South Leebrick St, at 2 o’clock Jan 21, 1916. Many friends paid the deceased the last honors. Interment was made in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
