Mrs. Mary Anna Bawman, widow of the late Charles Bawman, died at the family home, 818 Ash Street, yesterday morning at 10 o’clock.
She was born in Wuriernburg, Germany, 78 years ago, and had lived in Burlington thirty-nine years. She was a member of the Christian Science church and is survived by five sons and four daughters, who are as follows: William A Bawman of Eau Claire, Wis.; George Bawman of Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. Lee Bellamy of Galesburg, Ill.; Mrs. LA Piggott of River Forest, Ill.; and Charles, Samuel and Frank Bawman, Mrs. Harry Bellamy and Mrs. Charles Davis of Burlington. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren.
